The Malvern High School EAST Lab recently received confirmation they had been awarded a $1,000 grant from Blue Cross & Blue Shield Blue & You Foundation.
The grant will fund a project called Hunger Relief. According to EAST teacher Mary LaVergne, the students submitted the paperwork for the grant online and were notified quickly that they qualified and would receive the grant.

Malvern Fire Departmentâ€™s arson dog Beth and her handler Chris Brewster do training exercises at a recent house fire.
