JD White of Malvern went to be with his Heavenly Father Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the age of 81.Visitation will be Thursday, June 13 from 5:00â7:00 PM in the chapel at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 14 at 10:00am in Macedonia Cemetery in Clark County and officiated by Reverend Tom Strike.

David Paul Tatten, age 62, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013.
On Saturday, June 8, 2013, Roger Standridge Sr. âBigunâ, passed into his heavenly home after surgery complications at UAMS.A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 15 at 3 pm at MeadowView Missionary Baptist Church, 1760 Hwy 270 in Malvern, followed by visitation at his home at 403 Efird Rd in Malvern.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Regency Funeral Home, 1839 Pine Bluff Street, Malvern, AR 72104.
Graveside services for the cremated remains of Juanita Gloster Henderson the daughter of the Late Alphonso âAlâ and Lois Gloster of Malvern, Arkansas and her husband George Oliver Henderson the son of the late George O. and Marion Embrose Henderson of Bedford, MA. Will be held Friday June 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Masonic Cemetery with the Words of Comfort by the Rev. Bobbie Anderson Associate Pastor of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Yvonne Webber Bradley Goodman, age 87, of Malvern, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday afternoon, June 8, 2013.
The family will receive friends at J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from six until eight oâclock.
The funeral will be held at ten oâclock Wednesday morning, June 12, 2013, in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Reverend Larry G. Schneekloth officiating. Interment will follow in the Harp Cemetery.
Vearl Myers of Malvern went from this life to be with her Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ June 08, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock Arkansas.
Visitation will be held Tuesday June 10, 2013 from 6-8 at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Wednesday June 12, 2013 at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Bolin and Bro. Phil Matthews officiating. Burial will be at Damascus Cemetery 12249 Highway 9 Malvern. Family will receive guests at the Ray home following the committal service.
June 10th
On June 9, 2013 at approximately 1:15 a.m., the Hot Spring County Sheriffâs Office was dispatched to the Lono âCountry Cornerâ store in response to a 911 call wherein an individual was threatening to shoot deputies, himself and others.
Deputies arrived on scene at approximately 1:30 a.m. and confronted the subject, identified as David Alexander.
June 8th
Since working at the Malvern Daily Record I have been involved with a few tabs, which is short for tabloids. They are the sectional inserts dedicated to certain topics like softball, graduation, volunteers or health.
My favorite tab, that I became involved with, was âArmed Forces Day.â Go figure.
I have just heard about a new tab of ours called âA Day in the Life,â that is coming out in July.
This is going to be cuter than kittens.
Thursday, June 27 has been chosen as âThe Day,â that will focus on all of our lives here in Hot Spring County.
June 7th
Helen Burton Miskell, born in Clark County, Arkansas on February 23, 1923, died at her home in Austin, Texas on June 5, 2013 surrounded by family. She was 90 years old at the time of her death.
Helen was one of ten children born to Thomas Abner Burton and Octavia Terry Burton. She is survived by her only sister, Fay Garrett, her youngest brother, Joe Ed Burton, who live in Southern California as well as many extended family members in Arkansas.
Thomas E. Plummer, (US Army, Ret.), age 84 of Malvern, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013.
