The Magnet Cove cross country teams traveled to Southern Arkansas University on Saturday, Sept. 13 for the Lois Davis Invitational.
The Magnet Cove Junior Panthers finished third out of nine teams and the Magnet Cove Junior Lady Panthers finished fourth overall.
Eighth grader Gabriel Stephens led the Junior Panthers by finishing ninth overall. Seventh grader William Mims finished 15th overall.

Natalie Graham Ross, 52, of Malvern passed away Friday, September 12, 2014.
Reece M. Stiles, age 93 of Malvern, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Hot Springs.Â He was born on September 29, 1920 in Rolla, Arkansas to the late William C. Stiles and Helen Heard Stiles.Â
A memorial service will be held at ten oâ€™clock Wednesday morning, September 17, 2014 in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Reverend LaVon Post officiating.Â The family invites everyone to visit with them after the service.
Memorials may take the form of donations to the First United Methodist Church or to the Malvern/Hot Spring County Library.
