LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) â€” Four work zones will greet Arkansas motorists on major state highways during the holiday weekend, but state highway officials say Interstate 40 between Little Rock and Memphis will have all lanes open.
The state Highway and Transportation Department on Tuesday urged drivers to be careful while in the construction areas.
Traffic on I-40 near Hazen has been snarled for months because of construction around the White River bridge, but Highway Department Director Scott Bennett said work is nearly complete and all lanes will be open.
