Jacque Sue Holmes passed while in her family home of natural causes on Friday, May 17.
Billy “Bill” Joe Orr, age 81, of Malvern passed away May 17, 2013.
On Monday, the Magnet Cove Lady Panthers softball team was running a gamut of emotions from shock to jubilation to downright confidence.
And why not? Just two days prior, on Saturday, May, 18, the Lady Panthers won the 2A state softball championship in a game that could only be described as pure domination.
Their motto for the last couple of years has been “We Own The Dirt,” and that has been more than evident this season.
In Magnet Cove’s 10 postseason games, they allowed a total of two runs, and close to as many hits.
