The bowl season is reaching tipping point

December 18, 2014

I do love the college football bowl season.
Aside from March Madness, it is one of my favorite seasons of the year, but something has changed that has made getting to a bowl so much less significant.
There was a time where the bowls were confined to just a couple of days around the start of the year and only the best of the best were allowed to compete.
Don’t get me wrong, I think it was beyond time that the playoff system got underway, only the bowl system seems to be getting bigger and bigger each year.
