Vonda Cranford, a member of the Malvern School Board and a former retired teacher, will be the grand marshal at the MLK Parade on Monday, Jan. 19. The parade is at 3 p.m. in downtown Malvern.

The Hot Spring County Quorum Court meets Tuesday night at 6:00 to discuss the following items:
â€¢ An ordinance to correct a an addition error in the county budget
â€¢ An ordinance to appropriate $13,314.02 to Bismarck, Lono-Rolla, Magnet Cove and Rockport fire departments
â€¢ An ordinance to allow the tax collector to fill one full-time position in that office
â€¢ An ordinance to amend the budget to increase the pay of the countyâ€™s election coordinator, and
â€¢ A resolution to endorse the tax-back incentive program for Prime-Line.
The public is welcome to attend.
