Malvern Fire Department, Malvern Police Department and LifeNet responded to a vehicle that had ran onto to the curb on the viaduct. There were no apparently injuries as the reporter saw the driver leave the scene in the vehicle.
â€˘ Malvern City Council will hold its first meeting of the year tonight.
â€˘ SYKES held a flu clinic for employees and family members.
â€˘ Christmas break ends and Malvern School District will return on Tuesday, Jan. 06.

Local locksmith Robert Lafond changes locks at City Hall this morning. Malvern's new mayor, Brenda Weldon, is at work this morning, getting things together in the office. Changing locks was among the first order of business.

Malvern's oldest and most prominent citizen J.T. Clem, owner of a popular cabinet shop in town, passed away at the age of 70.
Chamberlain Drug Company advertised their general skin disease tonic to cure eczema, itch, ring worm, and other skin ailments.
E. F. Blakey Druggist vouched that customer's chickens would lay more eggs with his Bon Sung Tablets. 50 cent and one dollar bags available.
Perla Mayor Raymond Adams, Malvern Mayor Brenda Weldon and County Judge Bill Scrimshire are introduced by Circuit Judge Chris Williams at swearing in services held at the courthouse this morning.
