Ouachita Baptist running back Steven Kehner (Glen Rose) was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the Great American Conference.

The Magnet Cove cross country teams traveled to Southern Arkansas University on Saturday, Sept. 13 for the Lois Davis Invitational.
The Magnet Cove Junior Panthers finished third out of nine teams and the Magnet Cove Junior Lady Panthers finished fourth overall.
Eighth grader Gabriel Stephens led the Junior Panthers by finishing ninth overall. Seventh grader William Mims finished 15th overall.

The Malvern Lady Leopards volleyball team hosted White Hall on Thursday, Sept. 4 and came away with a 3-1 (25-20, 25-12, 22-25, 25-20) victory.

A lot of things have happened in the short history of the Malvern-Glen Rose football series.
One of the things that had never happen before occurred on Friday night â€” a blowout.
The Malvern Leopards walked into the newly renovated Beaver Stadium and came away with an easy 38-0 win.
It wasnâ€™t the prettiest game ever played, but the Leopards got the job done.

The Malvern Leopards and Lady Leopards tennis teams have a total of 13 players this year, but just a handful of returning players from a year ago.
This yearâ€™s teams will also be fairly young, as coach Angela Greene has just five seniors out for tennis this year.

The Malvern Leopards took to the field on Tuesday, Aug. 12 for practice at Claude Mann Stadium. The Leopards play White Hall on Aug. 26 for a benefit game then kick off the season at Glen Rose on Sept. 5.
The Bismarck Lions were on the field Wednesday, Aug. 13 to prepare for their opening game against Spring Hill on Sept. 5.
