Last night’s game between the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Georgia Bulldogs was not a pretty one, but the Hogs pulled out a two-point victory at home thanks once again to late-game heroics by BJ Young.
The win moves Arkansas’ record to 17-9 on the season and 8-5 in Southeastern Conference play.
I think that makes Arkansas a team on the verge of the NCAA tournament right now, even though I and many other people wrote them off as dead after the loss at Vanderbilt.
If they can continue to win their home games...

Ira William “Jim” Gage Jr., age 77, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 15, 2013. He was born October 29, 1935 in Leola, Arkansas. Ira was preceded in death by his father, Ira Gage; sisters, Eula Ennis and Opal Buzan and brother, Bill Gage.
Richard Paul O’Neal
Richard Paul O’Neal, 88, of Malvern, passed away Friday February 15, 2013.
Richard was born March 12, 1924 in Cunningham, TX to Calvin and Gladys O’Neal. Richard was a veteran who served our country in the Army during World War II.
Richard is predeceased by his parents and his wife of 66 ½ years Juanita O’Neal.

WASHINGTON (AP) — House and Senate lawmakers are investigating a nearly $100 million shortfall at the federal Job Corps program that has prompted the Labor Department to freeze enrollment at all 125 job centers around the country.
Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., has called on the agency's inspector general to investigate "serious questions about the management by the department" that will prevent 30,000 disadvantaged and at-risk youth from getting job training this year.
