On Friday, the Ouachita Warriors baseball team hosted the Bismarck Lions in the Herb Russell Tournament and came away with a 10-0 shutout win in five innings of play.

Teammates go to bat for Logan

Logan Kirksey, 5, (center), along with his mother, Carrie Sexton, receive a donation of $325 raised by his Hot Spring County Dubmankin’s Badboyz baseball teammates (Dante Reed, Malaki Asher and Kinnin Dobbs). Logan was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma on Feb. 7 of this year. He is undergoing 14 months of chemotherapy treatment at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. (Photo submitted)
