I love sports, I really do. I love everything about them, with the glaring exception of one thing â the over-increasing number of rules being made each year that serve no real purpose other than to change the sports we love.
Today, I thought I would take you through my own personal list of rules that I would do cartwheels in the street for if they were abolished.
â¢ The charge circle
In basketball recently, they added a little semicircle underneath the basket to show where a defender is too close to the goal for a charge to be called.

The Bismarck Lions baseball team took to the road on Monday to face the Prescott Curley Wolves, coming out on the wrong end of an 8-7 decision.
Bismarck started strong, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning and another in the top of the second inning to take a 4-0 lead.
Prescott would fight back with a run of their own in the bottom of the third and again with a run in the bottom of the fourth to cut the lead to 4-2.
