She would have done it for any of us, and probably did for some of us. Nevertheless, all the things that she did do for folks around here was very evident as the line during visitation showed. A lot of family and friends found out for the first time what she had quietly done for others over the years.
Her helping hands were never for her glory. She knew her time here on earth was short and part of her blessing was to be able to take care of her familyâ€™s future without her. She had time to say good-bye and prepare those that she loved for a life without a mother, wife and daughter.
It is fairly simple to protect a child while at the same time readying them for the world. However, simple doesnâ€™t always mean easy. Parents struggle with being a childâ€™s friend or being their parent. Which one is more effective in raising an ethical hard working child?
When we are honest with ourselves and recollect the form of discipline that worked best on us, we might be surprised.
Today is Dadâ€™s birthday, he would have been 91-years old. He passed away in March of 1994 and has been terribly missed.

Malvern Area Kiwanis Trivia night is an event I highly recommend. You get great food and a floor show. Besides that, the money from the meal and silent auction go to a great cause that focuses on kids.
