The Bismarck Lions baseball team took to the road on Monday to face the Prescott Curley Wolves, coming out on the wrong end of an 8-7 decision.
Bismarck started strong, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning and another in the top of the second inning to take a 4-0 lead.
Prescott would fight back with a run of their own in the bottom of the third and again with a run in the bottom of the fourth to cut the lead to 4-2.

I had no dog in the fight leading into last night’s basketball national championship game between the Louisville Cardinals and the Michigan Wolverines.
All I was wanting was a good, close game, and boy, did I ever get just that.
I’ve been going through all of the national championship games I’ve ever seen and I cannot recall a final that I have enjoyed more than that one since 1994 (for obvious reasons).

This evening, the last four teams standing will square off to see who gets to play in Monday night’s national championship game.
Many regard Louisville as the odds-on favorites to win it all, but I think it is anyone’s game at this point.
