Eagerly anticipating my trip to WMS

Later today I will be at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock to cover the Class 3A state championship game between the Glen Rose Beavers and the Charleston Tigers.
This will be my third trip to the Little Rock stadium for a state championship game, previously getting to go to the 2011 4A title game between Malvern and Pulaski Academy and the 2012 3A championship game between Glen Rose and Harding Academy.

Razorback basketball is fun again

December 20, 2013

I don’t know what it is about this year’s Arkansas Razorbacks’ basketball team, but I just have a really good time watching them on the court.
Maybe I was merely needing something entertaining after that abysmal football season, or perhaps it has been so long since the basketball team has given the fans something to cheer about that anything that approaches being good becomes a joy to watch.
