Editorial writers across this country more often than not throw out a few lines to get people fired up about something.
That’s so easy to do. Write something about a neighborhood that needs to be cleaned up or an area of town that could use a bucket of paint here and there and a lot of people will jump on board.

Houses deemed as unfit, unsafe

A resolution declaring two structures in Malvern as unfit and unsafe was presented to the Malvern City Council Monday night.

The properties called “unsafe, unsanitary and unfit for human habitation” were 1528 East Mill Street and 1625 Harper Street.

The fate of the properties could be decided at the full Malvern City Council meeting Monday, July 8 at 7 p.m.
The meetings are held in the Malvern City Hall in the courthouse.
