Over the weekend, the Malvern Country Club held the 2014 Joe Keith Malvern National Bank/Malvern Country Club 4-Ball Tournament.
The tournament was held on Saturday and Sunday, but the weather caused some changes in the format.
When the rain moved in on Saturday, the event had to be shortened to just nine holes, with an additional 18 holes being played on Sudnay.
In the championship flight, the team of Reggie English and Matt Allen finished first, followed by Rodney Allen/Camron Hurst and Chad Graves/Mike Nevens.
The Malvern Leopards football staff had a bit of a shake-up on Friday, as offensive coordinator J.D. Plumlee left the program to take the same position at Harrison High School.
Plumlee’s wife’s family is from the Harrison area, and the move was inspired by family, Malvern head coach Mike Scarbrough said.
“We appreciate J.D.’s work here,” Scarbrough said. “He did a great job for us.”
