Amos Jefferson Tucker

Amos Jefferson Tucker, age 92 of Friendship died Jan. 22, at his home. He was born April 29, 1920 to the late Jessie & Genevia Hands Tucker, in Hardy, AR.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Opal Lewallen Tucker, son Roy Tucker, sisters Rosie Dixon, Thelma Catlett, Aldean Morrison, and brother Archie Tucker. He is survived by sons Monroe (Ann) Tucker of Social Hill, Manuel (Pat) Tucker of Friendship and Daughter Vonnie ( Keith) Langley of Friendship, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was an army veteran of WWII and a carpenter by trade. Memorial service for Amos will be Saturday Jan. 26, 1:30PM, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at Caddo Valley, with brother David Overturf officiating.
