Thornton takes Chamber post

Monday there was a changing of the guard at the Malvern/Hot Spring County Chamber of Commerce. It was the final day for Gary Burroughs to serve as Executive Director of the Malvern/Hot Spring County Chamber of Commerce and at the same time, the first day for Nikki Cranford Thornton to serve in that capacity.

‘School Choice’ issue rages on in Malvern

(This is the second installment of a two-part series on school choice, over which a lawsuit has been filed in Federal Court against the Malvern School District)
In the hearing on Thursday, for a Preliminary Injunction against the Malvern School District, plaintiffs were called to the stand to testify for their reasons of school choice.
