 Gretchen Hendricks — MDR Lifestyles Editor October will be here before we know it. Then it will be time for listening to the crackling of wood burning in the fireplace. Such a nice sound on a cold winter day. It almost doesn't seem possible to imagine it has been 100 degrees outside and to think that in about 60 days it should, in reality be cool.

According to Science Daily (Aug. 9, 2010) the first prototype robots capable of developing and expressing emotions, as they interact with their human caregivers, have been finalized by researchers.
