Clark talks to BBA members and guests
Senator Alan Clark spoke to the Bismarck Business Association during its regular monthly meeting Monday at Fisherman's Grill and Pizza Shack in Bismarck. Clark gave members and guests of the association a brief backgroud of himself and his career.
Although Clark is not in favor of raising taxes, he said the recent forestry tax was favorable. Supporters of the tax were the people who owned the land and the tax was to be used to purchase items to fight fires. Clark said he voted for this tax.
Clark said a steel mill is a positive for Arkansas in the long-run. He said the mill could provide Arkansas with 1,000 jobs and possibly bring more.
