Clifton W. Roberts, 89, of Malvern passed away Wednesday February 27, 2013.
Clifton was born December 14, 1923 in Menominee, MI to William and Rhea (Billodeau) Roberts. Clifton loved to travel. He was a veteran who served our country in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the USS Colorado Alumni Association and the VFW. He was also a member of St. Johnâ€™s Catholic Church in Malvern.
Clifton is predeceased by his parents, one son, and one daughter-in-law Sophia Roberts.
Clifton is survived by his wife Daisy Roberts; five sons: William Roberts, Donald Roberts, James Roberts, Raymond Roberts, and Michael (Susan) Roberts, all of Oklahoma; one daughter Catherine Roberts Smith of Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be held during visitation which will be on Wednesday March 6, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Atkinson Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Johnâ€™s Catholic Church with Father Babu and Deacon Bud Daven officiating. Military Honors will be rendered at Arkansas State Veteranâ€™s Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR.
