Cox announces re-election bid

Ernie Cox is the incumbent candidate for Hot Spring County Coroner.  He was born and raised in Hot Spring County and graduated Malvern High School.  After completing 1 1/2 years at Henderson State University, Cox was drafted into the US Army, serving two years as a medic, Chaplain’s assistant and on the Whitecoat Project of USAMRID (United States Army Research Institute of Infectious Diseases). With an Honorable discharge, Cox returned home to Malvern and worked eight months as an EMT for Hot Spring County Ambulance Service.  “I then entered University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences earning an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology and Bachelor of Science In Health Related Sciences from University of Arkansas at Little Rock,” he said.
