Frank Goodman, 75, of Malvern passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013
at the Mercy Hospital. He was born April 19, 1937 the son of the late Mace Thrasher and Mamie Alice (Paul) Goodman. He was a 1955 graduate of Malvern High School,Â a US Air Force veteran, wasÂ retired from Amoco Foam Pack and had driven for the Malvern LP Gas Company. He was a member of the Damascus Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years.
Frank loved to garden, do carpentry, and listen to blue grass music.
Â Survivors are his wife of fifty-four years Mary Ann (Wiley) Goodman to whom he married February 13, 1959. Also his son Robert â€śBobbyâ€ť Goodman and wife Sharon, and daughter Karen Goodman, sisters, Betty Pierce and husband Billie, and Carolyn Beasley all of Malvern. Step grandchildren, Karen Michelle Whitman and husband Charles of Texas, and Tommy Hobbs Jr., and wife Megan of Malvern and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday March 6, from 6PM until 8PM at Regency.
Funeral will be held at 2PM Thursday, March 7, at the Damascus Missionary Baptist Church with Brothers Billy Bosley and Rickey Poynor officiating.
Burial in Damascus Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Bennie Chastain, Bud Rybard, Rodney Hughes, Buddy Hathcock, Steve Kratz, Houston Hathcock.
