James William Wedsted

James William Wedsted, age 70, of Medford, OR. passed Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at his home.

He was born June 3, 1942 in Malvern, Arkansas to William & Nellie(Sloan)Wedsted. In 1971 he married Mary E. (Goodson)Wedsted who survives. Jim & Mary came to Medford from Malvern in 1976. He worked at Grover Electric & Plumbing for 15 years before retiring. He enjoyed trips to the Oregon coast. He had served honorably in the US Army. Survivors include his wife Mary, two daughters and two sons; Deborah (Wedsted) Waldron of Malvern, AR., Rebecca L. Wilkerson of Medford, OR., Richard W.(Arlene) Wedsted of Medford and James R. (Bobby)Wedsted of Benton, AR., two brothers; Kenneth R. (Donna)Wedsted of Hot Springs, AR., and Michael D. Wested of Beaumont, TX., 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1:00PM Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at the Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd, Medford, OR . Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
