JoAnn Moore

JoAnn Moore, age 74, of Poyen passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at Saline Hospice in Bryant.

She was born May 14, 1938, in Poyen, the daughter of Ernest Jason and Lola Mae Walker Nichols. JoAnn was a member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church and graduated from Poyen High School in 1956. She loved to fire and paint her ceramics. Other than her parents, her sister, Veneta Southerland, precedes her in death.
Left to cherish to her memory, spouse, Joe Moore; sons, Randall Moore (Kennetha) of Poyen and Timothy Moore (Vicki) of Atwater, Ohio; brothers, Morris Nichols (Catherine) of Fenter and Ernest Jewell Nichols (Betty) of Fenter; sisters, Nina Morehead (Wayne) of Hot Springs; brother-in-law, Noble Southerland of Foreman, Arkansas; grandchildren, Joseph Neal Moore, Mason Moore, and Cody Moore; step-grandchildren, Kenneth Cloud, Patricia Cloud, Brittany Cloud, and Lexie Cloud; step-great-grandchildren, Brandy Cloud and Jason Cloud; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be Wednesday, January 30 at 2:00pm at Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery with Brother Steven Franklin officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will Curtis Ivy, John Crouse, Bill Crouse, Tommy Wrenshaw and Dennis Roark.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery or Saline Hospice.
