Johnny O. Wehunt

Johnny O. Wehunt, age 56, of Hot Springs, died on Wednesday, February 27, 2013.

He was born on July 17, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Kansas, the son of Johnny Ray Wehunt and Martha Frances Frazier Wehunt. He is preceded in death by his parents and precious grandson, Landon Edward Lowder.
He was Baptist by faith and worked for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. He loved being outdoors; motorcycling, boating, riding four-wheelers and getting some mud on his Jeep. He loved his family, especially his grandbabies and daughter. Last, but definitely not least, his beloved basset hounds.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Peggy Morrow Wehunt of Hot Springs; daughter, April M. Wehunt of Hot Springs; granddaughter, Kallie Lowder and grandson, Kane Lowder both of Hot Springs.
Services will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:00AM, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Chaplain Ed Losey officiating.
Interment: Cunningham Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home in Hot Springs.
Visitation: 6:00PM until 8:00PM Friday evening.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Golden, Paul Abernathy, Ricky Merriott, Johnny Brown, Chuck Russell and Allen Anthony.
