Judge candidates campaign

This is Part Two of a three-part series featuring the Malvern and Hot Spring County candidates and the speeches they gave at a recent political rally. Part One was published in the Wednesday, April 30 MDR
In the political rally held Friday, April 25, candidates running for office in the May primary and the November general election were on hand to present their ideas and to introduce themselves to the community.

County Judge
Hot Spring County Judge Bill Scrimshire (D) said a few thank-yous and drew laughter from the crowd with a couple of jokes. “I will pledge to you that all the good ideas that you bring me I will support, and will support your good, worthwhile projects as I’ve always done in the past,” Scrimshire said. He thanked the crowd for letting him work for them in the past and said he would like to work for them a little longer.
