Malvern Little League looks to the future but needs help getting there

December 17, 2013

Over the summer, the Malvern Little League sent a team to the regionals of the Little League World Series in Waco, Texas.
The Malvern All-Stars had a good showing in the event, finishing second, and were even featured on ESPN2.
In addition to having a chance to see some of the best teams in the country, the Malvern Little League players and fans got to play on championship-caliber fields, which is something they couldn’t say before the trip.
The Little League fields, which are located at Malvern City Park, do not live up to the standard of the high quality of baseball that is being played there each summer.
Malvern Little League President-elect Danny Spadoni and the rest of the newly-elected board members are out to change that.
The Malvern Little League is a nonprofit organization that relies on sponsorships to keep it going.
