The balls were put away for lunch, but kids at the Boys & Girls Club of Malvern and Hot Spring County weren’t slowing down on Thursday, Nov. 9. College of the Ouachitas had their Adult Education open house on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Arkansas Workforce Center on Sullenberger Ave. Pictured are Valerie Free, senior instructor at COTO, Vanessa Robert, a student at COTO and Randy Morris, the Adult Education OMEGA Center director.Students and friends came out to sign up and learn about the Adult Education program as well as enjoy sweet treats and refreshments set out. Students who came and signed in were entered to win a $50 gift card. Attendees had a great time, sitting down and chatting and enjoying each other’s companyRandy Moore, director of adult education for College of the Ouachitas, gave an update to the Malvern Rotary Club on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
