The Country Garden Florist held its Christmas Open House on Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 6  p.m. Delicious homemade treats were served to all who came, and door prizes were offered.The Glen Rose Beavers are entering the playoffs as 1st seed after an undefeated conference, including a victory over last year’s state champion, Prescott. The Friends of the Library hosted a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, Nov. 7.The Community Room at the Library was filled with Chamber members and Friends of the Library alike, mingling and eating treats provided by the library.The Magnet Cove Panthers enter the playoffs as 3rd seed and will face Hackett on Friday.The Malvern Leopards enter the 4A State Playoffs as 5thseed and will play the undefeated Gosnell Pirates on Friday. Poyen is entering the 2A State  Playoffs as 5th seed on Friday.

Three flags were carried down MLK Blvd. to the memorial by Mooney (carrying the Arkansas Flag), Zach Klein (16) of Poyen (carrying the POW/MIA flag - his father was Air Force) and SSC Retired Army National Guard Michael Bell of Malvern (carrying the American Flag). The event was to bring awareness to Veterans’ Day.
