ProMed Ambulance filed a motion for preliminary injunction in federal court around noon on Friday, May 30, in hopes of preventing the implementation of LifeNet as the city’s exclusive ambulance provider. ProMed also filed a “Brief in Support of Motion for Preliminary Injunction,” a “Summons in Civil Action” to the City of Malvern and LifeNet, Inc., and a “Verified Complaint for Declaratory Judgment, and Preliminary and Permanent Injunction for Damages” which asks the federal court to declare the city’s contract with LifeNet null and void.
