Twyla “StormFire” Warford

Twyla “StormFire” Warford, 61 of Malvern, passed away peacefully at her home on February 5. 2013.

She was born March 15, 1951 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the late Junior “ThunderHawk” Clarence and Naomi “Spirit Dancer” Ruth Pinner Guess. Twyla was an ordained Minister, a member of the Mantaka Indian Council and Door Keeper of the Wolf Clan Sweat Lodge.
She is survived by: Her husband of 37 years, Ralph A. “WolfWarrior” Warford, one son, Alan “SpritHawk” and wife Katherine WolfSeeker” Warford of Malvern, one grandson, who she raised as her son, Ralph A. “WindWolf” Warford III “Trace”
She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Carmalita Dawn Nix and her grandparents Claude and Annie Pinner.
Funeral service will be at 10AM Friday, February 8, 2013 at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Alan “SpiritHawk” Warford officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 7-9 PM at Atkinson Chapel. Interment will follow in Francios Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Pierce, Ralph Warford Sr., Alan Warford, Ralph Warford III, Jeremy Buckholtz, and Mike Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Saline County Hospice.
