Multiple-vehicle accident results in debris |

A multiple-vehicle accident Friday around 3:30 p.m. on Hwy. 270 north of Hwy. 51 resulted in at least two people taken to Hot Spring County Medical Center by ambulance for emergency treatment. Malvern Fire Department firefighters responded to a mutual aid request from Magnet Cove Fire Department and used hydraulic extrication equipment to remove the female driver from the mini-van. Debris from the involved vehicles was strewn for several hundred feet along the highway.
