A multiple-vehicle accident Friday around 3:30 p.m. on Hwy. 270 north of Hwy. 51 resulted in at least two people taken to Hot Spring County Medical Center by ambulance for emergency treatment. Malvern Fire Department firefighters responded to a mutual aid request from Magnet Cove Fire Department and used hydraulic extrication equipment to remove the female driver from the mini-van. Debris from the involved vehicles was strewn for several hundred feet along the highway. The identities of those involved in the accident and further details about its circumstances were unavailable at press time. (Photo by Steve Good)
