Loving husband, father and grandfather, Bobby Dean Kirchoff, 74, of Malvern went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born Nov. 24, 1933, in Stuttgart. Bobby served in the Navy aboard the USS St. Paul, had been employed by Safeway while residing in Stuttgart, was co-owner of Gibson’s Discount Stores in Malvern and was currently owner of the Stanley Street Pawn Shop in Malvern. He enjoyed working alongside his wife, Ann, going to auctions, hunting and fishing, playing with his grandboys and attending various sporting events coached by his two daughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ester Harris Kirchoff; his brother, Marvin Kirchoff and brothers-in-law, Bill Blohm, Pat Mulloy and Ralph Haller. Bobby is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann Mayville Kirchoff; daughters, Deana Franklin and husband, David of Hot Springs and Debbie Sharp and husband, Rancy of Siloam Springs; sisters, Elsie Haller of Sun City, Calif., and Frances Blohm and Carolyn Mulloy, both of Stuttgart; brothers, Walter Kirchoff and wife, Ann and Merlyn Kirchoff and wife, Iva, all of Stuttgart; sister-in-law, Nell Kirchoff of Malvern; grandsons, Tyler, Logan and Noah Sharp of Siloam Springs and his greatly loved nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Visitation will be held Friday, July 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern. Services will be held Saturday, July 19 at 10 a.m. in the Regency Chapel officiated by Reverend Ken Burton, followed by services at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stuttgart at 3 p.m. officiated by Reverend Jack Gillam. Bobby will lie in state at St. John’s Lutheran Church prior to the service. Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart. Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
