He had been a resident of Avinger, Texas, for the past three years. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War Two, during which time he served at Pearl Harbor. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed going hunting in Colorado.
He is survived by three daughters, Jeannie and her husband, Troy Gregory of Malvern, Carly Maxwell of Euless, Texas, and Donna and her husband, Lee Larsen of Grand Prairie, Texas; by two grandsons and one granddaughter.
Also preceding him in death was a sister, Beulah Mae Prickett and a grandson, Craig Gregory.
At Mr. Wise’s request, no services will be held.
Local family assistance is by J. A. Funk Funeral Home, Malvern.
