Division II callbacks were held at the Hot Spring County Courthouse Aug. 27 with Seventh Judicial District Circuit Judge Phillip Shirron presiding.
•Eric Hicks, 27, of Malvern, entered a not-guilty plea along with his attorney, Louis Loyd. Hicks was set to return to court Nov. 24. •Lawrence Rose, 66, of Malvern, was set to reappear in court Dec. 18 for a charge of Sexual Assault in the second degree. •Tommy Dale Coffman, 40, of Bauxite, was sentenced to pay $1,000 in fines, $1,000 in restitution and was sentenced to probation on charges of Theft of Property from June 2007. •Bryant Alsup, 36, of Arlington, TX., could not appear. Alsup is in custody at the Texas Department of Corrections. Alsup was set to reappear Dec. 22. •Laura Sparks, 40, of Malvern, was set to appear Sept. 2 for controlled substance charges. •Kathleen Porter, 48, was set to appear on Sept. 17 on charges of Theft of Property from Aug. 1, 2008. •Ezekiel Morgan. 24, of Malvern, was set to reappear Nov. 24. •Chad Ray, Jr., 21, of Malvern, was charged with violating the Arkansas Hot Check Law. Ray was set to reappear in court Dec. 22. •Steven Mazzola was charged with Aggravated Assault in January 2008. Mazzola was set to appear in court Sept. 24. •Edward Joe Carey, 29, of Bismarck, was charged with Residential Burglary, Theft of Property and Domestic Battery in the third degree, all from February 2008. Shirron set a trial date for Carey for Sept. 18. •Floyd Willingham, 65, and Wanda Willingham, 58, both of Malvern, were set to return to court Dec. 22., due to charges of selling intoxicating liquor without a license and the criminal use/laundering of proceeds. •Steven May, 49, of Malvern, was charged with violating the Arkansas Hot Check Law in 2006. May, along with his attorney, Phyllis Lemons, entered a guilty plea. May accepted a plea agreement consisting of 3 years supervised probation, payment of a $1,000 fine, $250 for DNA and restitution. •Malangela Evans, 29, of Malvern, was set to reappear in court Dec. 4 on charges of Battery in the second degree. •Glen Caradine, 54, of Malvern, was sentenced to pay a $500 fine and to pay a court cost of $150. Caradine was charged with selling intoxicating liquor without a license and criminal use/laundering proceeds from February 2008. •Barry Perry, 32, of Malvern, was charged with Rape and Residential Burglary. Shirron set a trial date for Perry on Jan. 22. •Brian Pittman, 36, of Traskwood, was set to return at a later date on charges of Terroristic Threatening in the first degree. •Alex Hayes, 19, of Bismarck, was set to return Nov. 26 on charges of Criminal Mischief in the first degree. •Tyler Hansford, 18, of Bismarck was set to reappear Nov. 26 on charges of Criminal Mischief in the first degree. •Jimmy Prevatte III, 18, of Bismarck, was set to reappear Nov. 26 on charges of Criminal Mischief in the first degree. •Jonathan Pittman, 20, of Bismarck, was set to reappear Nov. 26 on charges of Criminal Mischief in the first degree. •Jason Frazier, of Malvern, was set to reappear Sept. 23 for charges of Forgery II, a Class C Felony. He and his attorney entered a not-guilty plea. •Bernard Rogers, 42, of Warren, Ark., was set to reappear Sept. 10. •Vance Marshall, of Malvern, accepted a plea agreement and was sentenced to 5 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections and was sentenced to pay a $1,000 fine, $150 in court costs and $4,800 in restitution on charges of Breaking and Entering, Theft of Property and Criminal Mischief. Marshall pled guilty to all charges. •Antonio Murray, 20, of Brinkley, Ark., was sentenced to 10 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections and sentenced to pay $1,000 in fines and $150 in court costs on charges of the Possession of Marijuana with intent to deliver.
