Friday night and Saturday this week is the Bismarck Business Association's sixth annual festival to bring the community together and raise money for scholarships going to Bismarck High School seniors.
There will be a Bar-B-Que Bash on Friday night and a free concert. The Hippy Hollar Band from Social Hill will play from 6 to 9 p.m. Attendees will have time to come out before the BHS Homecoming game. Saturday starts with the Bar-B-Qween Pageant on stage behind US Bank. Bar-B-Que will start getting ready about 11 a.m., available until 6 p.m. In between will be local talent to including John Payne, Mike Clark and the As Is Band free on stage. There will also be games for the kids, attractions, arts and crafts, petting zoo, a cutest dog contest, horse shoes, bagos, kids casting contest and Bingo from 1 to 6 p.m. with great prizes. Bring your lawn chairs. Free parking. No ice chests allowed. |
