Driver’s education offered
Tuesday, 06 May 2008
A driver’s education class will meet from June 2- June 13 from 8-11 a.m. at the Malvern Beta School building at 339 Donnely Street in Malvern.

Classroom instruction will include: Rules of road, sign recognition, evasive maneuvers, DWI/DUI and other laws, seatbelt usage, trip planning, basic car maintenance and map reading. Quizzes will be given.
Attendance is mandatory. If you miss class it will be very hard to get your certification. Certification can be achieved when 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of driving experience with a certified instructor are completed.
When you have finished your driving time, you will be finished with the class. You will only then be required to pick up your driving certificate or bring a self- addressed envelope and it will be mailed to you.
Students will be insured by the district while driving in class.
Benefits of the class include possible reductions in insurance rates.
Most insurance companies will give a 10-15 percent discount on your car insurance after completing a certified driver-training course. Check with your agent.
Taking a driver’s education course and having a good student discount could reduce the cost of insurance by 20-25 percent.
The first 20 applicants with a permit and tuition will be admitted.
For more information, contact John Ware at 870-245-8064.

I am SOOOO EXCITED 2 hear that Malvern may be getting a SKATEBOARD
PARK!!! The preteen/teenagers NEED something to do in this town to help keep them
out of trouble!!!
Crystal Vann - Malvern

...I hate what my town has become. It is run down and nobody wants to put back into the community anymore. Where has all of the money in this town gone? Has it just become a place to raise your kids just long enough for them to get an education and move away to become doctors and lawers in other towns? Have we no more dreamers that want to own their own buisness in the town they grew in?

James Parker - Malvern
