New bridge opened up
Thursday, 15 May 2008

Hot Spring County Judge Bill Scrimshire (center) joins with Bismarck School District superintendent David Hopkins (front, wearing suit) in officially opening a bridge built by funds from a hazard mitigation grant. Scrimshire said the bridge over Big Hill Creek on Willow Road near Bismarck replaced a wooden structure. He described the bridge as being steel girders on piers with an eight-inch concrete floor. Hot Spring County road employees joined in the ribbon cutting. (Photo by Steve Good)
