Viola M. Clements

Viola M. Clements, age 89, of Malvern passed away January 2, 2013 at Mercy Hospital.

She was born July 12, 1923, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Louis and Clara Aukemeyer Sippel. Mrs. Clements was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, a homemaker and delivered Meals on Wheels for over 10 years. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Clements.
Survivors include her sons, William “Bill” Clements and his wife Paula of Butterfield, Bob Clements and his wife Ellen of Hot Springs, and Don Clements and his wife Olga of Kaufman, Texas; sister, Virginia Haley of Freemont, California; six grandchildren, Jason Clements, Jonathan Clements, Jeremy Clements, Erin Hicks, Jeff Clements, and Christina Calderon; eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, from 6 to 7pm at Regency Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 4, at 11:00am at St. John the Baptist Catholic with Father Babu Battula as Celebrant. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are the Staff of the Crossing, Lake Hamilton Health and Rehab and 4th floor at Mercy Hospital. Memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
