The home going service for Philip W. “Bookman” Robinson, age 44, of Malvern, AR,
will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 12 Noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Malvern, Arkansas.
Philip left his earthly home while surrounded by his loved ones at his residence in Malvern, AR, on Tuesday January 29, 2013.
He was born to the parentage of the late William Earl Robinson, Sr. and Gloria Jean Miller Robinson. Philip was a graduate of Malvern, High School and was of the Baptist faith. He was employed at Precision Industries until it closed. Philip was married to the love of his life Sheila Henderson on July 10, 2004. He was predeceased by his father and one sister.
Philip is survived by his wife Sheila Henderson Robinson of Malvern, Arkansas: four children Philip Robinson, Jr., Shania Robinson, Lorene Bowser and Delissa Player; His mother: Gloria Robinson of Malvern, Arkansas; brothers: William Earl Robinson, Jr. (Robin), of St Helens, Oregon, David Robinson of Malvern, Arkansas, Ronald Robinson of Malvern, Arkansas, and William Robinson III of California; his mother in law: Audrey Ann Henderson of Malvern, AR; his maternal grandmother Clara Alexander of Tracy, California; his in laws: Vanessa and Franklin Davis, Terrance and Jean Moore, Barry Donaldson, Tijaunta McAdoo, and Rosalind Henderson.
Pastor Orlando Freeman will be officiating the service. Philip’s earthly body will be laid to rest in Perla Cemetery, Malvern, while his spirit is with God.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 5 until 7 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Services entrusted to Brandon’s Mortuary, Inc. of Malvern.
