Granville (Bob) Bailey, 90, of Gridley, CA, went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2013,
surrounded by his wife and daughters. He was born December 10, 1922 in Hot Springs County, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen (45 years); both parents, Jay and Maradie Bailey and his 4 brothers, Connie, Eldridge, J.C. (Sybil), and Herman Bailey all of Malvern, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife Betty (Byrd) (18 years); 2 daughters, Annet Hodges (Jerry), and Alechia Hodges (Rick); one grandson Micah Hodges (Alison); three granddaughters, Haley Hodges, Shannon Landes (Ryan) of Live Oak, and Heather Hodges of Palo Alto, CA; one great-granddaughter Brielle Landes. One step-son David Byrd of Malvern, Arkansas; two sister-in-laws, Louise Bailey and Eula Bee Bailey and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members all of Arkansas.
Granville served in the United States Navy from September 1943 to March 1946. He retired in 1984 after 32 years of employment at Sunset Moulding Company in Live Oak, CA.

Visitation will be at Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel, Gridley, CA on Thursday evening March 28th 5-8pm. Services will be held on Friday March 29th, 10am at Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
