Jerry Lee “Pa” Bell, Sr., age 94, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013
at his home. He was born May 29, 1919, in Dillard, Missouri the son of the late Frank and Luiza Sellers Bell. Jerry was in the United States Army and received a Purple Heart during WWII. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and riding four-wheelers. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma McKay Bell; sons, Jerry Lee Bell, Jr., David Bell and James Bell; grandchild, Taylor Bell; siblings, Minnie May Bell, James David Bell, Katherine Frost Bell, Celia Bell, George Bell, Henry Bell, Lena Bell and Neely Bell.
Survivors, children, Glenda Marie Wilson (Ray) and Billy Wayne Bell, Sr. both of Lovington, New Mexico; grandchildren, Jerry Lee Bell III (Pam) of Malvern, Heath Bell (Courtney) of Malvern, Robyn Stafford (Wade) of Malvern, Ray Wilson (Elizabeth) of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Billy Wayne Bell, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Lovington, New Mexico, Brandon Bell of Lovington, New Mexico, David Bell, Jr. of Dixsonville, Jimmy Bell (Heather) of Benton and Anita Bell of Benton; great-grandchildren, Tristen Bell, Dalton Bell, Taylor Bell, Allie Bell, Braiden Bell, Kaylee Bell, Ashley Bell, Ethan Bell, Scott Wilson, Roman Wilson, Alexa Bell, Avery Bell, Gabe Bell and Sophia Bell.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 28 from 2:00-4:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Monday, July 29 at 2:00pm at Regency Funeral Home Chapel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Purifoy and Staff, HSC Medical Center Staff and Sarah and Kim with Odyssey Hospice.
