Well, the college football regular season is over and we now move on to the bowl season.
With the exception of one or two games, I can’t say I’m too excited about the matchups.
Of course the main event of the bowl season this year, which thankfully is the final year of the Bowl Championship Series, is the national championship game between the No. 1 Florida State Seminoles (13-0) and the No. 2 Auburn Tigers (12-1).
I am actually dreading this game more than I am anticipating it.
For the last several weeks I have been scoffing at the notion that Auburn is a “team of destiny,” but the way they keep winning games they shouldn’t is hard to ignore.
