On Saturday, Bismarck High School hosted a baseball jamboree, but because of some weather and travel concerns, the event did not go quite as scheduled.
Two of the teams that were scheduled to be in attendance for the exhibition games (Blevins and Magnet Cove) were unable to attend.
The other three local teams (Bismarck, Malvern and Ouachita) had mixed results on the field.
The Malvern Leopards won both of their games, taking down Ouachita and Murfreesboro.
The Ouachita Warriors split their games with Bismarck and Malvern.
The Bismarck Lions fell to Ouachita and tied Jessieville in their games.
The first game of the day saw the Ouachita Warriors defeat the hosting Bismarck Lions by the score of 14-3 in three innings.
The game was decided in the first couple of innings when Ouachita jumped out to an 8-0 lead after the first inning, before pushing that lead to 14-0 heading into the bottom of the second.
For the rest of the story pick up a Tuesday MDR.
