Free smoke alarms being offered

Free smoke alarms will be provided by the Red Cross on Saturday, May 28. This is a coordinated effort between the Red Cross and the Hot Spring County Department of Emergency Management, and the program is part of the Red Cross's national Home Fire Preparedness Campaign.
The smoke detectors will be delivered by the Red Cross and local fire departments on May 28 and June 11. The deadline to sign up for the May 28 installation is Friday, May 27 and the deadline for the June 11 installation is Friday, June 10.
