COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Authorities say two men were injured in a helicopter crash while filming an episode of a hunting reality television show in Texas.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says the crash happened Saturday night near a community located about 20 miles east of College Station.

The Houston Chronicle reports two helicopters were filming when one was hit by a gust of wind and spun out of control, striking a tree and dropping on its right side.

The DPS says 36-year-old pilot Jacob Oliver and 71-year-old passenger Wayne Bomstad were taken to a Bryan hospital with injures that were not life-threatening.

The DPS and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating.

The outdoor show "Hunt Wicked Close Television" confirmed on its Facebook page it was the reality show involved in the incident.
